It’s always really painful to do so (got the same ADHD brain), but I have forced myself to pick back up those save files and finished them 5-10 years later (literally) and it was so worth it to be able to move on to sequels.
Helps that I always played as female characters who were lesbians lol

At my worst I had 7k tabs, most of them hadn’t been looked at in years, 2500 was my average, but since chrome killed adblockers I’ve dropped it to 3 windows with 300 tabs of essentials and then a Firefox window for YouTube/other things I badly need a blocker for

Yeah, especially because the adaptation elevated the source material, the 1st light novel is horribly paced (it gets better in later volumes) and the anime completely fixes it and foreshadows properly.
