I’m not spreading any kind of agenda and you don’t know this family and what they’ve been through so you can eff right off in saying this vaccine did not cause her disability. It 100% did. Spend some time reading VAERS if you think adverse effects are so rare. YOU STOP! I’m done with this convo.

And with that, I’m done with this discussion. You’ve already painted me with a label that works in your world and nothing I say will change what you think so, I’m going to take my leave. All the best to you.

I already said I am not anti-vax so you can throw that label around all you want but part of being a progressive, to me, is to question everything and hold it up to the light. I’m just sharing what I’ve learned about this topic when I’ve done that. That doesn’t make me “anti” anything.

Tell that to my friend’s daughter who has been disabled since 16 from serious adverse effects of the gardasil vaccine. I’m not pushing any anti-vax agenda. Some vaccines help and some can harm and not enough is being discussed about that by Drs. There are risks like ANY other medical intervention.

Also it’s the Dr who has to give the information that allows you to truly give informed consent. Drs are not giving the full information about vaccines and potentially adverse effects because a lot of them don’t even know it themselves. There’s a lack of information being given around vaccines.

No, you cannot sue Big Pharma when it comes to vaccines. It’s in the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act. You have to sue the US government and it goes to a special vaccine court. Seriously. Google it. I have no agenda other than for people to get the info they need to make informed decisions
November 16, 2024 at 4:27 AM
A lot of people do not know what informed consent means and 90% of people don’t receive it. They’re just told by the Dr that it’s time for c these ones and that’s it. There’s no deeper discussion. I never said they don’t “work” just that better informed consent is deeply needed.
November 15, 2024 at 3:11 PM
That’s not what informed consent means. “They know the vaccines work.” The FDA regularly takes money to fast track certain vaccines and skip steps in testing because vaccine manufacturers can’t be sued under the law as it currently stands. Please research what informed consent really means.
November 15, 2024 at 11:03 AM
Not entirely. I think with any medical intervention there should be informed consent and choice. Too many Drs don’t ever learn what’s actually in vaccines and what those ingredients do or are intended to do so they can’t truly provide the info needed for informed consent. It’s sticky.

Yay!!! Glad to see you here!

Some vaccines shouldn’t be mandated, like Gardasil or chicken pox vaccine. But there are a lot of them that should be. This is a mixed topic for me.
