When I was in design school, there was a concerted effort to tear down ego with brutal critiques. For some of us who weathered it, it enabled an ability engage in dialogue without taking it personally. I’m interested in exploring alternate practices that might give a similar perspective.

Just got back from a stint out west where I taught a workshop on illustration as a meditation. Partly this came from realizing that most people’s barrier to engaging with art is based on self-judgement. I’m interested in continuing this exploration..

This autumn was a drought in the Catskills, so I largely skipped mushroom hunting and instead learned to process dogbane fiber. Sound on for soothing fiber asmr.
