What I meant about education and poverty was that it’s in mostly republican led states. Yes, there are many educated southerners. Just a guess here but the hate could be leftover from the civil war.

Both of my parents came from North Carolina. I think it’s because a lot of the people in them are racists. Folks remember the hatred and mistreatment they grew up in and still face. Mostly white republican leaders do nothing for their constituents. They are the lowest in education and poverty.
