A week old - first swim!
Last year I got two Buff goslings. Early this year, the female started laying eggs and I was told by breeders of these birds, AND veterinarians, that the eggs were not fertile, that my geese were too young, that the eggs wouldn't hatch.
Apparently, no one told my birds. 🥰

I love the Hummingbird Falls plants and so do the local hummingbirds. Yesterday, I found one at the store! Looking forward to welcoming lots of guests for dinner!

In spring, I plant plants and raise babies - it's just who I am. So this year I got a bunch of ducklings and I still have 2 geese I got last year (and they're nesting), so I told myself "no more birds!" Then my feed store got Heritage Breed turkey poults - BLACK SPANISH ....
I only got two! 😉
