What we see in the US of her (via videos & facial expressions) presents a drastically different perspective from how Italians view her. Everyone I met over the last year (3 trips visits to Italy) Italians I speak to claim/believe she loves Trump. I was surprised.

It’s almost as if the “other” WH officials didn’t know about the footnote until the memo was leaked & they read it in the WSJ, or started hearing from individuals (advocates, NIH staff, cong. staff). I would love for this to have been an impactful advocacy effort. The level of chaos is ridiculous.

I know for a fact that in so many cases the people in these rural areas don’t know that their hospitals are at risk. They truly believe just the “scammers” are going to suffer. By the time they realize it, I assume in many cases it will be too late.

Exactly. Especially knowing that 64% of active duty voted for this and still support the process. Very frustrating to see this particular scenario as the main focus for outrage.
