The only way to reduce displacement long term is to massively increase housing supply so there is more than enough to go around. At some point we just have to start building, and since there is such a shortage, there will be inevitable displacement in the mean time.

Tbf that’ll free up units that upper class people are currently in for the middle class, so new luxury units will end up benefits everyone indirectly.
