While that may be true, it has nothing to do with autism. It’s like saying because 37% of autistics also have ID, all autistics have ID when it’s not an actual trait. It might be co-morbid condition, but it’s NOT part of autism.

Lacking empathy, or struggling to have empathy, has nothing to do with autism and is in no way associated with autism. Struggling to communicate, verbally and non-verbally, that one has empathy can be. It is the non-autistics that inaccurately perceive an autistic person lacks empathy.
