I really don't think that's a requirement of being qualified to be called a writer. I can imagine some great writers, Dickens for example, doing that, others not so much. Hard to imagine Hemingway blubbing over Robert Jordan, I'd say.

I can't stand her opinions or her pedagogy but having worked with her a long time ago and still being in touch with colleagues who speak to her I know she does have at least one child. Added to which, assuming that if someone is childless that's responsible for their weird opinions is very dubious.

Love that lane - hope the bloke with the panniers (not the one at the start, the one at the end) sees this and realises what an absolute melt he looks endangering oncoming riders to satisfy his ego by arriving at the next red light first, people like that really spoil this great facility.
