There are also home problems that contribute to bullying behaviour, but oversubscribed classes/schools only exacerbate it.

That in 2025 bullying still exists at all is a failure to all children. It is not character building and leaves a lot of people with trauma far into adulthood.

Queer and autistic means you're an easy target for people who are not engaged with school education and have not yet learned empathy, and schools with class sizes over 30 (heck I'd say over 15) often mean that students are not engaged and turn to bullying as any form of entertainment.
