I'm Renata. A closeted grad student doing the hatred AI thing. (there wasn't much choice when I was enrolled).
I'm much burnt out, "out of tune", and not really academic.

After scanning the “Your Brain on ChatGPT” paper I feel like maybe it is … just *not* a good paper which we can learn arguments against AI from.
I would try to describe the major points make me think it is not doing the job (while my thought could be wrong).

People are reposting the MIT lab result everywhere, which claims (v roughly) AI “assistent” causes brain rot.
I think part of the issue is that few people hints how brain rot ones can be socially engaged again.
