Authority by Jeff Vandermeer. Book 2 of the Southern Reach series. It's very different from book 1 so it took a bit to really get into it but I'm into it now and enjoying it.

Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer came from the library and I went ahead and started that. It's really good so far so I'm probably gonna send Prince Of Thorns back. Really liked Book That Wouldn't Burn but not feeling this one.

Ok I just finished Livesuit. Very interesting. I am wondering how humans got scattered all over the universe and if we will find out.

Yeah I think Carl is great in small doses so I'm kinda spreading em out between other more serious books

I enjoyed it but I did have a couple issues. Idk I had been thinking of the aliens more as Borg type and it made zero sense they'd do what they're doing that way but then I adjusted and thought of the aliens more like The Collector. I 💙 Star Trek lol I got LiveSuit today!

I just read the next book in this series called Revenant X. It was really good too. It did some unexpected things and I can't wait for the next one. Think it's gonna be a trilogy but I'm not positive

That's what I'm taking it as. I'm in the process of figuring out if it's better to get a CEIP certification or an actual degree in editing/proofreading. I've asked around on some internet groups for editing and I'm never sure if I'm getting a good answer.
