My recently adopted kitty. I picked the biggest cat at the shelter! He weighs in at 22.5 lbs & is quite the personality! Hope yours settles in nicely. They love routines.

Now, I know I’m not their demographic, but, where is the rest of the dress? Can you imagine wearing this anywhere? At ANY age? I would not have worn this in my prime. It looks like a sexy teddy. Which is a whole other thread. Seriously. In the Subway? Parking garage? Sidewalk? What message is this?
A tall, young woman in a very mini, “baby-pink”, tiered-tulle “dress” that looks like it could fit a 5-yr old except for the low cut V-neck. This barely covers the crotch area. She’s paired this with pretty strappy pink metallic heels.

Just read an article about a “Sea monster” (a 12 ft Great White) & lucky for us all, it’s near Orlando, which is ~60 miles inland from the nearest coast. Enjoy the water everyone! It’s safe!

Eyed Elator beetle
Not the greatest pic but here you go!
A strange beetle, approx 1-1/2” oblong, it has two large black spots rimmed with white, resembling eyes, just south of its actual head, long lower body, mostly dark or black with some gray and many speckled whitish spots. It’s a top-down pic of it, on the ground with dried oak leaf litter.

This one is income inequality.
A graph from congressional budget office showing income groups of Bottom 20% in Blue, Top 0.01% in Red, and Top 1% in Orange (excluding top 0.01%). Starting from 1980 the Blue line barely changes, looking mostly horizontal with very little upward slant. Orange and Red start out together, much higher than blue, but start to diverge from each other around 1985. Red spikes near 400% around 2000 & near 600% around yr ~ 2006, Orange is perhaps closer to ~ 300% & 400% respectively. Blue remains barely above the Zero %. Both Red and Orange are spiking higher off the chart after 2015.

Age yourself with a movie you saw in the theater as a kid.

Parents really really didn’t think about the appropriateness of the movies back then. I couldn’t even swim in a swimming pool after this one.

Ok I’ve got the solution. If you can knit without looking, beard buddy (for crumbs) and snack chopsticks (so you can keep hold of the knitting needles.
