it was absolutely in the style of 1960s maternity shirts btw. not a command yellow shirt, fully a vintage looking woman's top. imagine one of these but uglier and in an awful shade of yellow

I use OneLook Thesaurus, since you can type in multiple words for your search to try and find the word you're thinking of, since I've got a bad case of 'forgets the exact word I'm thinking of but I remember the meaning'. www.onelook.com/thesaurus/
Example:
A search on OneLook Thesaurus of "waiting but good". The highlighted results include "patient, expectant, hopeful, anticipatory, optimistic" and the close definition provided reads, "Best match is patient which usually means: Individual receiving medical care/treatment"
