The only purpose of these talks is to stall for as long as possible until Ukraine is overrun. Putin needs to take Ukraine to survive politically. Trump wants Putin to take Ukraine for some juicy deals. It's time for the world to ditch the United States and stand up for what’s right.

They comply because they see what’s happening in the Caribbean and don’t want their planes to meet the same fate. You can't blame them — and if they’re not careful, desperate Venezuelan forces might mistake them for American warplanes.

No, the U.S. doesn’t need to put boots on the ground at all. They'd wipe out Maduro’s air force and navy within 24 hours. After that, precision strikes would shatter the Venezuelan forces' morale, and with most of the population hating him, he’d be on a plane to Russia in no time.

He spoke up because it affected him personally. If he truly cared about what's right, he would’ve turned against Trump a long time ago, so this isn't laudable. It's just a lucky break — hopefully the first of many — to finally get Trump out.

Isn’t this going to turn into a vicious cycle of dropping the case at the immigration hearing, arresting the person, having him appear before a judge for bond, dropping the case again, and then arresting him all over again?

In short: The city tried to demolish a tent encampment of homeless people, came in with heavy machinery, didn’t check whether anyone was inside, crushed a man, claimed it was a suspected overdose, offered a hollow apology with empty promises, and is now being sued.

When Trump is gone, they should tear down that whole ballroom and turn the site into a memorial — a place where people can visit and learn about this dark chapter in U.S. history, to help ensure that someone like Trump never comes to power again.

This is, of course, a violation of international law, but given recent precedent with the targeting of alleged drug boats in the Caribbean, it almost seems as if Trump is toying with the idea of shooting down planes over Venezuela.
