but I’d personally love to see a resurgence in VK bands that would adopt more of a Goth/Post-Punk, and/or even New-wave-y inspired sound!

I know I’m quite biased when it comes to my love of those genres,
But you know… bands like BUCK-TICK, or Madame EDWARDA are so unique to me.

As much as I love Metalcore as a whole,
Indeed. I’m very glad to see that people can enjoy the more newer gen VK bands to come out like Devilloof, Damned, Jiluka; etc;
