unfortunately i'm seeing people talk about HBO harry potter again, i'd really hoped it were dead already

bingo card with the following options: dumbledore is gay, but the word is never used black hermione or ron same exact caslte but more CGI hermione s.p.e.w. plotline big celebrity voice cameo as the sorting hat gringotts goblins design overhaul, but they're still there same hogwarts uniforms detailed dudley/petunia dursley reformation arc "apologetic" trans professor trelawney even more blatant christ metaphor lots of new food shown onscreen (for merch reasons) lots of weasley twin products shown onscreen (for merch reasons) free space: it's bad, immediate win if it gets canceled more sympathetic snape with more incel undertones they make a big deal about peeves being in it cho chang is a "girlboss" but her name doesn't change long pauses between seasons so actors can visibly age show gets canceled midway through due to budget POC/disabled/queer luna lovegood original movie actor cameos as a professor or death eater, and ensuing "i didn't know she was a TERF" apology weird justifications for why slytherin is even a house anymore queerbaiting: remus / sirius, seamus / dean, ginny / luna percy weasley or collin creevey are gay werewolf aids metaphor is never addressed "plot" about other magical races is brought up but never resolved bingo card with the following options: modern day setting, dudley is an iPad baby wizard internet james corden trans rita skeeter, extremely offensive wizard racists are also regular racist weird sisters appearance with orignal song too many quidditch scenes sympathetic filch and/or squib plotline dobby looks like absolute dogshit lots of tom riddle backstory even worse explanation for why time turners can't exist anymore mcgonnagall fucks FREE SPACE: it's bad, immediate win if it gets canceled lots of mauraders content but it's not interesting at all dumbledore's brother hints at him being gay, he's homophobic ginny gets a personality, which makes her relationship with harry less believable score is either the exact same or really bad more ministry corruption, but harry still becomes a "good" wizard cop new wand design to sell more wands cheeky, mean-spirited reference to fanfiction (bonus points if written by lavender brown or rita skeeter) pansy parkinson is a mean lesbian but they won't say the word lesbian "love magic" is explained in excruciating detail and is even more christian-coded more than one main actor has to be replaced the sorting hat has really long monologues/songs harry is "sassy" again but it just comes off as annoying
