Last night, every Senate Democrat voted for my amendment calling for a $17 an hour federal minimum wage while every Republican but 1 opposed it. The movement to raise the minimum wage to a living wage is growing.

An unholy cocktail of Paleoconservative ideology and Israel worship
Kind of incredible how much Trumpism really is just a dumber version of Pat Buchanan’s shtick.

There can be no doubt about what he would have thought of our "very stable genius."
It always makes me suspicious when you have these “apolitical” businessmen saying:

“I just wanna put the country back on its feet and restore incentives…If the country could be run like USA Inc…with a real can-do guy....”

There’s a whiff of fascism to that, I think.

Even under the best-case scenario these tariffs will consolidate capital into fewer hands.
There are 33m companies in the USA. Only 21k employe 500 or more. And they only make up 23% of workers.

Trump and Elon are ignoring the more than 32m entrepreneurs that can't afford to build a new factory or pay tariffs or absorb cancelled contracts.
