And I served next to people who thought that getting paid to shoot missiles and long distance guns at other people was the best job ever. It isn’t, I know because that was my job as an FC2.

So this person is so proud to be an FC2 that they paid for a special license plate.

I only heard hardcore athletes and rich kids talk about scholarships in high school. I joined the navy as a junior in high school so the school counselors saw me as a lost cause (and probably would have if I hadn’t). Recruiters loved people like me who saw no other choice in life.

I joined so I could maybe afford college. I joined because I want ready to be a responsible adult yet knowing that my one of people were the ones who worked in fast food and at gas stations, we weren’t picked for better jobs because we were poor. I didn’t understand what a scholarship was.

I am not ashamed of my Navy time, but not particularly proud either. It reminds me of when I was still in. There were a lot of people who were proud to be in the Navy. We called them lifers. I generally didn’t get along with them well. I think they may have joined because of some ideology.

Little autonomous people.

But when other people say that and it feels odd to me, it is because they look at children as assets, like protecting your investments.

Respect for their autonomy that follow grown humans often get. T default.

To me, that respect for children and teenagers is the bare minimum. The fact that my belief is controversial at all is a huge red flag for society, in my opinion.

When I think of protecting the children, I think of them as
