It was somewhat serendipitous to have this conversation with my friend because I keep seeing posts about "stemless" TKs by people who do not know what those even are or when you would ever want to use one. And, frankly, most of the rope bottoms I've seen off & online are better served by low-hands.

Being able to look at what the rope and the body are doing, and to consistently assess what kind of impact those things are having on your bottom is particularly important for bottoms that cannot do a full high-hands position (where the knuckles touch the opposing tricep).

Ultimately, neither of these arm positions are ideal for Hank, but I really want to try to put more of this focus out there -- about how force deforms rope-structures, moves them on the body, and how the force moves the body itself.

This is a follow-up of the last where I added a bottom band with cinched kannuki (Re Riccardo) and made sure to lock-off the kannuki line to the bands so they are pulled and loaded when the tie begins to deform. 3/3

This we changed the arm orientation as well as how we tied the anchor point (upper forearms) and demonstrated how much deformation and migration there is without additional structure. 2/3
