It is so incurably human to see things as "someone else's problem." Empathy is the only thing that combats that. So, when we allow empathy to be demonized, we've lost the fight.

Please bring back this T-shirt and philosophy. I'm not promurder, but man, this sentiment.

What Democrat aligned with Epstein? How delusional or misinformed can you possibly be?

I feel that! Artist block sucks. Inspiration always comes when it's not being saught after and never when it's chased. Tragic. 🥰

That's still, by definition, a pedophile. Technically, it's an ephibophile. Legally and traumatically speaking, the two are no different.

I wouldn't call it bleh. I'd call it a great start to something really cool!

The APA is trying, I swear. 🤣

And you thought your pork had too much salt and nitrates!

Wow... that was more incoherent than usual.

Murmurations are amazing. All those loose small flocks instinctually coming together for a shared migration without prior existing bonds... truly a miracle of nature. We could learn a lot from them.

Oh, it is definitely getting hard to suss out information from misinformation. I employ the Harvard CRAAP test. You can find it on their website, and it's a great guideline. If a source doesn't pass CRAAP, it is crap.

Prior to Trump, I had never heard of any of our candidates before they were up for election. I always have to look up platforms and track records.
I do see the possibility that social media will change the way elections are won, much like television changed the way debates were won. It's scary.

I advocate that we use the most recent rendition of the Psychopathy Check List Revised as a screening tool.

What is missed is that the problem was not tax supported equity but rather fascist dictatorship. So, ironically, people have voted against "socialism" and for a wannabe fascist dictator. Social studies are not taught correctly over here on the whole. We have many problems to tackle.

That's the plan for many of us. There have been Democrats and third-party liberals calling for a national plan. The Affordable Care Act was the closest we've gotten so far. "Socialism" and "Communism" are trigger words for people who lived through the Cold War. So, anything close is shot down.

I mean... Regardless of Canada, I demand a more qualified leader.

Exactly! A solid replacement needs to be developed before we up root people's ability to live. Aside from governmental assistance, I don't see an out.

Especially when you consider that the marketplace insurance companies are the same insurance companies you would be paying for private coverage, but without the discount from the marketplace. Same companies, pretty much the same coverage. Medicaid is not through an insurance company. Idiocy at work.
November 8, 2025 at 10:49 PM
Without the marketplace, we would not be able to afford any insurance. Without insurance, my family couldn't afford the cost of our maintenance meds. But, insurance gate keeps with prior auths that get in the way of getting the medicine in the first place. That catch 22 is our reality.

A privately owned co-op that is regulated by a governmental agency, for example. The means of production are owned by those producing but is regulated by a separate group.

Jodi Dean, Angela Davis, Alfredo Saad-Filho, Cornel West, Michael Walzer, and Christine Sypnowich are far more recent than the early utopian philosophers who describe systems that operate in this manner.
