Remember when she used to be sort of unbiased, and behaved somewhat like a journalist. Then Trump and MAGA took a run at her, terrorised her, and instead of fighting back, she became this sort of jingoist coward. I never cared for her, but man she has fallen way down into the MAGA stew.

The silver lining with Trump's chaos, it unified Canadians in being able to find pride and hope in the flag again. Tamara Lich and the ilk in the #Freedumb convoy made it hard to feel pride in the flag, these tariffs have repaired that wound.

Canadian here. In talking with friends, I suggested the feds should not do tariffs, but instead pull every trick possible to make groceries cheaper for Canadians, then just keep putting out a top 10 comparison list to the media each week. Just smile in wave.

And just to state the obvious, 30000 migrants that could be working, earning and spending money, paying tax on all of that spending will instead cost tens of millions to the taxpayer to be held prisoner in Gitmo.

I can't stand Musk, but in all fairness, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, the Netherlands, and Norway have all gotten rid of pennies for exactly this reason. I don't miss them one bit, prices are rounded up or down to the nearest 5 cents if paying with cash.
