I finally finished reading Binti. I started reading in April for a book club. While I loved the world the author built and the technology and cultures that were portrayed, the narrative of a special and gifted heroine becoming more and more special and gifted kinda fell flat for me.

I followed up with They Called Us Enemy, which is a graphic memoir of George Takei's experience in Japanese concentration camps when he was a child. It felt very relevant in light of the current political climate towards immigrants. I was able to borrow this digitally thanks to my local library.

I was pleasantly surprised by the release of Rapport. This short story from the Murderbot Diaries helped prime the pump for my reading momentum.
