Finally—back to my drawing board. It's been a long, long time I couldn't even set foot into my studio (our late son Mike did the electrical wiring & work; the hole in my soul the size of Mike was just... to... raw). Relieved I still have some drawing chops left.

Nothing says “America First” like selling out U.S. beef and soybean farmers to buy Argentine beef instead. #ArgentinaFirst

Once a President has publicly shit on millions of "his" citizens (as Trump did this weekend via AI post to his social media acc't) then started demolishing the White House—seems that we're beyond all hope. I watch Alex Garland's CIVIL WAR as a comfort movie, now.

The President of the Nebraska Farm Bureau wants it known how damaging Trump's announcements are for the beef industry. With a vacant seat in the midterms, would you trust a Republican to fix the problem they've made?

Invited to write for an academic press, but fuggit. It's worse racket, actually, than the work-for-hire publishers I had to deal with in the 1970s-1980s, actually; it's astonishing to me how codified it's become, another example of a creative community accepting the unacceptable/unsustainable.

I knew we were heading here as soon as I heard/read one-time peers of my comics career saying/posting infuriating "poor Senator Joe McCarthy was misunderstood" bullshit about a decade or so ago.

Sister Jean was a role model in Illinois — inspiring us to embrace our neighbors.

As a lover of life, she taught us to channel positivity to keep us hopeful in times of need and kept that attitude all the way to a life well-lived at 106 years old.

May her memory be a blessing.
