It isn't that sort of game for me. "The Point" of a pokemon game (and probably most other games) is different for different people.

This seems like one of those things with nuance, people liking something for different reasons. You say "the point" of pokemon is "competitive battling" like a fighting game. Which would make sense why a roster wouldn't be a spoiler to you. I don't give a shit about competitive battling.

I cannot tell if you are being purposefully hyperbolic or if you genuinely cannot fathom that some people play pokemon games for reasons other than multiplayer battling
