Ha, that reminds me of a line from Mark Oliver Everett's book. He was delighted the music they wrote, sounded like the instruments were broken. Or words to that effect. I must re-read it and could thoroughly recommend it, "Things the Grandchildren should Know". Enjoy your musical equipment!

These first special occasions; Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, without a loved one are the hardest, I think. The merriment in shops, etc., at Christmas is in such contrast to the grief you feel and can highlight your loss. It's a tough one for you and your family, this. x
