I recently discovered that Center Shock chewing gum does not actually have a shocking but a rather sweet center. The shocking stuff covers the gum but if you wait until you start chewing it dissolves and all you're left with is a sweet center. They should rename the product to "Center Letdown".

The diminutive form of words usually makes them sound more cute. Like dog vs doggy. When you do the same to the German word for friend you end up with the more threatening word “Freundchen!” which is used to put people into place or warn them to stop whatever they are doing.
