That SHOULD be it, as it does make it go away.. but it seems to be tied to a cookie, for some reason. It's not an actual account setting, so whenever I open my browser (which is set to clear cookies on every close), it pops back up. Interesting! I think I can accept that this is my fault now haha

I mean this thing that lives on the right side of the UI. I have my feeds locked down to just Following, which works great.

To try to make up for the bad vibes, here's a preview of the video coming next month. Don't worry, this video is gonna make you feel good. No fear mongering here, just the way I like it.

As always, be kind and patient.

Remember, Spotify BARELY turns a profit. We can actually take them down if you STOP GIVING THEM MONEY. This could be a slam dunk example that showcases that boycotts DO work, but YOU gotta put in the effort by reading this handy guide: support.spotify.com/us/article/c...

Right, but I'd like to see that spelled out in the actual privacy policy, you know? Like some privacy policies of companies with actually problematic data practices show exactly where the data goes, for example, Eight Sleep: www.iubenda.com/privacy-poli...

For an app that is so hyper-focused on privacy, it's bugged me that they've avoided transparency on these third parties for a while now. There's an argument to be made that it puts those third parties at risk of breaches, but how can we agree to their privacy policies if we don't know who they are?

"We work with third parties to provide some of our Services. For example, our Third-Party Providers send a verification code to your phone number when you register for our Services. These providers are bound by their Privacy Policies to safeguard that information."
