ilona and albert were engaged in 1997, split up in 1998 during the arklay mansion where he literally died. he didn't die though and in 2006 the two end up back together (somehow, against ilona's better judgement), then they split again in 2009 when wesker dies AGAIN

in an alternate world where wesker survives re5 and comes back to haunt his ex-wife over a decade down the line (post-re8)
