So, a discussion ends when you say both that the other person is wrong - directly implying that your opinion is the only possible right one - and that a different opinion doesn't matter. We can disagree and discuss our differing views, etc. But this kind of dismissive approach gets us nowhere, IMHO.

Nah, Newsom wasn't "hating trans people ". I agree that the guest was totally detestable, but let's try to avoid tossing the baby out with the bath water.

This kind of overreaction (to Newsom) is the very thing that sank Democrats in 2024 and will continue to do so if we can't focus on the big picture.

I'm not a constituent (NJ resident) but I value your advocacy/voice very much. I wonder,though, why you oppose Medicare Advantage; without it we retirees (not rich) would still need Supplemental plans -which are more costly and also use private insurance cos ...

Please let's focus on the real issues such as the horrors that the co-emperors are visiting upon our nation and the world. BTW, I got organic large brown eggs at Whole Foods (I know, Bezos) today for .39/egg - that's $4.68/dozen. Let's chill on the egg craziness.

Perhaps I missed it, but did you ever refer to Assad as Genocide Assad? Putin as Genocide Putin? ironically and sadly, none of those "brave" college protesters would ever survive under, nor approve of Hamas's ideology had they done even a wee bit of research. Horrific war crimes yes, genocide, no.
