How is that meme of the cartoon dog sitting in a room on fire saying that everything is fine not yet overplayed?

Predictably/ on cue the Nextdoor crowd are screaming this from the rooftops. I got the false story before I got the facts but fortunately I have chronic skepticism.

I fear that we celebrate it. Not sure how new that is.

I think that someone should feed the term “wild cat” to tRump in regards to oil drilling. Then we can hear him say it on the (so called) news with his weird pride.

I can’t argue with the seeming consensus that we can’t make it that long. I have some hope as I watch people adapt (as a counter force) to what is happening. The idea that we the people are the greater power has sprouted and is taking root. Positive change can come from this.

I know this as a Mel Torme song.

I seem to recall A LOT of children in cages in season one. Not very easy to overlook in my opinion.

Ironically I think, as a white man, that white men get a pass on being tuned into those same feelings.

Is it the phrasing or the idea behind it? I just interpret it a “unserious”. Is that upsetting?

It’s almost like the culture stalled out in the 19th century and someone else has to do the work of progress.

I no longer live in the North East but for limited exposure I enjoy the bite of the cold. I like the reminder of being a mammal with hair and with warm blood in my veins.
