Just living the best life I can, one of these days that will include a haircut. 😉 I have some rough anniversaries this month. Hug the fur kiddos in your life, time with them is never long enough. 💕 I’m so thankful to have my current bunch to keep me laughing and on my toes through grief.

Life with a best friend is a good life. My service dog has better control of his facial expressions than I do. This is a frequent source of laughter around here. 😁

Sometimes I enjoy using public transportation because it means I get to explore town more. 🙂 The bus often takes me routes I wouldn’t take if I were driving and leads to me discovering cool new places to visit.

I hung these balloon cat ornaments up randomly throughout my house. I figured my kids will enjoy discovering them. I 💜 the aesthetic & pop of color! When I was a younger adult I was afraid to show my style, so it makes me happy that I’ve shed those chains & express myself more authentically now.

The desert can never make up its mind whether we are going to have winter or not. My first time in this desert as an adult in the early 2000’s it was tank top weather in February.

After so many decades of not recognizing the face in the mirror, it feels really good to recognize myself when I pass a mirror or take a picture. Sometimes it still feels like a dream- I expect to pass a mirror and not recognize who I see and sometimes when see myself in a mirror it makes me smile.

I totally support this word change. A lot of cis people have very big feelings over the prefix cis. 🤷🏼♂️
