Book43of'25: @scalzi.com Man, this book was a wild ride. Had to think, keep up with the plot line, but I loved it. And Thank you for putting the Navajo Nation in your book. When I came across that, I shrieked with delight! Thank you, it makes us less invisible. Now headed towards Head On 😊📚💙

Book42of'25: Novel was pretty good, ending was horrible. Nothing gets resolved, nobody changes, nothing is lost, it was a cyclical ending. It left more questions than answers, which I hate with novels. Overall, an okay book. Message? Stop running, stop being afraid.

Book38of'25: So far one of the best books I've read this year. Makes you think about what we unknowingly sacrifice/give to apps, our phone, Google, Alexa, Siri,& countless others. Is it courage, will, or hope to give these up? And can we ever? Not likely, hence The Dream Hotel. 💙📚

Book37of'25: I love Jesse S. This book is CRAZY! It's about what social media does to people, friendships &family, esp if one is an influencer, living 4 the likes, the posts, &being "authentic". I don't think anyone is authentic on social media; we all have mess&drama. Who wants to see that? 💙📚

Book36of'25: Good book. Book examines one's role as a member of Native American Tribe, being half white. It's a book that tries to break away from Native tropes as we look at the extinction of language & cultural practices. Who are we without these? 💙📚

Book35of'25: Loved this book. Well-written. The Queen needs no introduction, but she solves crime with the help of two of her staff. Made me nostaligic for the Queen. Loved it. 📚💙

Book34of'25: Props to Greer, a former English teacher, now a writer. I applaude that. The book? Eeeh...the idea is maybe overdone; a sentient sex-bot comes to terms with her purpose, existence. I think "Doug" needed more character development to justify the end. Overall, makes you think. 💙📚

Book33of'25: Theoretical Physics. Love this book. Can't say what it's about without giving away the whole story, but imagine fixing your timeline, fixing all your mistakes, meeting the people you've lost. A do-over. Ethical? Against nature? When do we say enough with technological advances? 💙📚

Books28-32of'25: Finished all 5 books by E.Strout. What a journey. Strout's work is subtle, simple, & by that alone packs a punch. I enjoyed all 5 books & will read her other books. Overall gist? Love, once again, is all that matters in this life & in this world. 💙📚

Book27of'25: Master of writing. This book tells the tale of love, loss, forgiveness & redemption. To be complete...we need to make peace with ourselves, our past, our choices, & the people we hurt along the way. No matter how ugly, forgiveness makes anew all things. 📚💙

Book26of'25: My respect to Sherri Chrichton for getting her husband's manuscript written by James Patterson & published. Had to be a difficult undertaking, but it made for a good book. Makes me wonder what ways we can destroy ourselves. Nature always wins though.

Book25of'25: This is an excellent read. I'm officially a Blake Crouch fan. Puts humanity&the question of our compassion in question. Do we care enough to save future generations? What will it take? Or do we go on as nothing is happening and meet our end? 💙📚

Book24of'25: Awesome book. Very well written...keeps you guessing to the end. Vera Wong is probably one of the most memorable characters ever written. We are only as old as we feel, especially important after age 50. 😊 📚💙

Book23of'25: This is how novels are supposed to be written from beginning to end. Anne Tyler is absolutely brilliant; master of her craft always. I enjoyed this book immensely. Tyler writes about ordinary people & makes us remember the magic of being alive...fuĺly, to the brim.

Book22of'25: The Biggest Bluff. M Konnikova turns professional poker player in 2 years. She asks was it luck or skill? What about you? Your life choices and place in life right now? All you(skill) or luck?

MKonnikova says luck, in and of itself, is who we are, because we get to live. 💙📚

Book21of'25: Excellent book. Story of a woman who finds herself & life's meaning through strangers. We can make it through the toughest of times...if we want& don't shut out people & the world. Here & now. Listen to your gut. Be present. Here and now. Manifest what you want. 📚💙

Book20of'25: Sad book, but also filled with hope. Grief hits all of us. No time limit. What would you say to someone you lost? I would say, " I miss you. We should have danced more, held each other more. Maybe again we will. I love you. Always." Again, sad, but hopeful book. Awesome read. 📚💙

Book19of'25: Cash Blackbear is a one of a kind character in any criminal fictional story you'll read. This is the 4th book and it is every bit as good as the 1st. The book is well-written, complex, and brings attention to Indigenous issues across the United States. 💙📚
