He had doses that failed due to his struggling. Thankfully, consistency has led him to the point where he’s more okay with the injections. I’m still so worried something will happen and he’ll collapse though, so I only leave him for very short periods when I go places he can’t (doctor).

I understand. My dog got diagnosed early 2024 and he was so resistant to getting injected that I really struggled with it (at the vet it took three people to inject him, but at home I was trying my best on my own). Thankfully he understood it wasn’t personal. Still, it was really stressful.

In terms of your art skills level, definitely a 10. But I like to aspire to greatness in my own art, and I'm definitely much further along on my art journey than I was, so maybe only an 7.5 now? I'd love to get to the level where I evoke the same feelings from my art that I see in yours.

You were initially a 1 (though in a really cool way, please don't misinterpret). Personally, I don't tend to find people intimidating, so long as they're friendly (literally the first time I came across your acc, I witnessed the sweetest interaction between you and someone that adored your art).

I appreciate how you worded that. There's an AI whose only purpose is to detect trash on the sea floor, and I respect the AI whose job it is to inform people when the ocean needs help. What I do not respect is the harmful & cancerous way other / (gen) AI has mutated into art and culture.

Honestly, Hemlock’s are so epic.
I think that personally it’s a sin that they’re covered… but also that Spike is wearing a lot of loops (like the belt loop across the torso), so it would probably be easier to gain leverage on his person to pull him close if someone was feeling brave. I like the functionality of the pretty outfit.

Suggestion? You could perhaps make a mirrored version of the mask that helps allow you to use the transform tool no matter the pose if you ever go to draw the mask again? So that way you have a guide? It’s such a gorgeous mask - would be a pity to not be redrawn again.

I love the design - cool fact is that the brighter oranges might be some of the last colours to disappear under the water when you submerge. Perhaps they help to visually distinguish him that deep under the water?
