Machu and Nyaan are such direct opposites of each other. Shown how she has a "job" while Machu is aimless, her crummy apartment compared to her spacious room, but they both want something to color their dreary lives, something only being with Shuji could provide for them.

Oguri Cap's win against Fujimasa March was amazingly done even without using any special VFX to convey the intensity of the race
but the real highlight for me was Norn's 180 degree turn on Oguri. She's so lovely

It's as everything as I thought it'd be. A good show that played well with its genre, paying tribute to its inspiration, and taking the motifs and themes it used as a basis for its characters as seriously as it could.
I think it could definitely do a budget upgrade but it's still a good show
