Finally sharing. Cheerio’s health really took a downturn over the holidays & after consulting with the vet, I made the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make and opted for at home euthanasia. As of this morning, my best friend of 17.5 years is gone.

It’s been hard to have enough energy to post any personal updates, and it’s also felt like there isn’t much new other than the continuing saga of health awfulness and never ending crashes.

But I’m still here. And Cheerio is keeping me company.

To break up my MA posts a little, have a Cheerio:

Her head is smushed down onto the blanket but her ears are perked up and she’s looking with big wide eyes at something out of frame. Lights are reflecting in her eyes and giving them a glint of wonder.
