Independent collective advocacy for current and former patients of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, Morningside - 'our patients are the crème de la crème'. We are structurally, financially and psychologically independent from REAS, NHS Lothian, EH&SCP, ECC.
Our patient members wonder why their lived experience is so under-valued in mental health services and the professional views of doctors, nurses, social workers etc. are so massively over-estimated. How do we correct this clear epistemic injustice and shift the balance of power in patients' favour?
