I want floaters, but all my tanks have jumpers so I need secure lids and I heard lids cause floaters to rot and die. Nice looking plants!

I use suction cups with zip ties to secure the vines so they don't fall in, but there are other methods

Take a pothos vine, cut it near a node, remove leaves from the bottom part of the vine near the cut so there are several inches w/o leaves and stick that end in water. It will grow roots!

I know ADFs are social, her pal sadly passed away and I'm trying to decide if I should rehome her to someone that has others or if I should get another friend.

Yes, I keep pothos in all my tanks, great for removing nitrates! This tank has kuhli loaches, dwarf rasboras, spotted blue-eye rainbowfish, cherry shrimp, and a dwarf African frog.
