I think he’s better with his feet and that’s something Amorim really likes. Maybe not the best long term solution but feel like we can continue to build the squad Amorim wants while being competitive with Onana as the #1 keeper

Yeah I would’ve preferred letting Rashford go too, but looks like his wages are a non starter for most clubs and the clubs that can afford him are ones he isn’t interested in. One way or another this situation has to get resolved, can’t go on until the end of the season with him still at the club

Yeah I agree we are definitely better with Rashford than without him in the team. I feel Amorim sticks to 3-4-2-1 to start with, he might adapt and tweak it based on how the team looks after the first couple of games. Looking forward to seeing how he adapts as we have games almost every 3 days

I honestly feel the only way he starts is up front, not sure he fits in at wing back or the no.10 positions. I think he might get the nod as the striker for the first couple of games, if he doesn’t score goals Hojlund probably replaces him in the team

I agree, I’m hoping that having a better system with 2 no. 10’s and wingbacks providing width will potentially help us moving forward. Getting Bruno closer to the goal instead of playing as a no. 8 helps too

I can definitely see Maguire, Eriksen and Antony leaving either in January or the summer. I’m still hoping Mount can be redeemed because he’s played in a similar system under Tuchel and had some of his best performances under him

I wonder if he fits more of the two no.10 roles in Amorim’s system if we are genuinely looking at him. He could definitely be a good option for that position
