How do you feel about screams and tears- sort of teenage girls seeing the Beatles? That’s how I always feel when I meet favorite authors. So far I have kept it together, but it is only a matter of time… 😂

I would just remind everyone that the folks in the National Guard joined for a variety of good reasons (help in local disasters, defend country during war, pay college debts). This wasn’t what they signed up for. They are getting pulled away from their families and jobs for no good reason.
