I get that it's scary to pick up and move to a new site after spending so long building an audience in one place. But I don't know how many more clear messages they can give you that "No, Twitter is not helping you anymore, in fact it's actively trying to hurt you."

After such a long year of practice practice practice, I've found myself satisfied with my technique~ Here's a little #90sAnime Inspired, #ArtNouveau #SelfPortrait to end the year off with~

The background is inspired by old Art Nouveau posters, with a lunar motif and the artist's name above her with the title "Regina Mentis" beneath, latin for "Queen of the Mind," in reference to her online handle. There is a distinct if subtle 90s anime inspiration, shown by the proportions of the anatomy, the video grain filter over the entire piece, and the harshly delineated, pink-shifted shadows as inspired by Sailor Moon.

Slowly getting back into it~ Here's a cute little doodle I absentmindedly made during my #Practice session of... Some kind of fire arachnid? Little bit of a #Fakemon looking creature, certainly looks like it's from some kind of mon game that doesn't exist.
Just a little gentleman~
A scorpion-esque creature, text referring to it questioningly as "Scorchion" and "Torchion" as possible names. Instead of a stinger it has an opening in its tail that shoots fire, and it has spider-like fangs that seem to drip magma rather than scorpion claws, and only four legs rather than the expected eight. It's fangs and eyes are glowing. To the side there is an image of one hanging from a stalactite and screaming like a cicada or frog.

Ha, burnout is such a pain. After I finally felt satisfied with my artstyle I thought I could get a bit more ambitious and do a full set of reference sheets. If nothing else it's certainly confirmed my artstyle is settled and I can use it for personal use. May need to pull back a bit though...

"This is too cliche" is just a fool's way of saying "I don't like this cliche." If you write anything in a genre; and you can't NOT write in a genre; it will have cliche from that genre. Attempting to avoid that will simply make it even more derivative and empty.

A small-ish medieval tower on the edge of a small lake, in the center of a craggy valley with many stony hills and mountains. A large stone is in the middle of the lake, and the lake is highly reflective.
