This seems accurate and necessary but I can’t imagine a large portion of our population letting go of their notions of American Exceptionalism to make this easy.

I had so much hope the sequel trilogy would be exactly this, if not way closer to this than what we got. What a waste.

As a therapist, hard agree. So many of the issues folks have these days would be better solved by that than any kind of therapy!

I absolutey bought into the "healthier snack" hype as a kid and begged my mom for these the same year I was learning about the food pyramid. The begging worked because my mom has never cared about a healthy, balanced diet 😅

I've seen them a couple of times now. Always great. Last week in Dallas had a weird audience. Quiet like they were at church. Such a strange vibe in an otherwise awesome show (and no fault of The Beths!)

My partner was an intern at NPR a while back and got to access a similar room with books and cds. Snagged me some neat pre-release copies of books that I hold dear.

So many of these promos are attached to movies I completely forgot existed! Is that just because every movie gets these kinds of tie-ins and there are just a lot of movies? The forgettable ones can't be more likely to get one.

My mom’s partner swore them off after last summer when he saw a pride theme rocking chair on their porch. Too woke.
