Acquisition of an e-cargo bike in April virtually eliminated local car journeys. An unexpected bonus was facilitating husband's recovery following near-fatal stroke in August. Told at his 4 month follow-up appointment they'd not seen anyone arrive by bike before, 50+ years of cycling saved his life

Yes, the floral conservatory is Very Nice. But council is also considering cutting 20+% of transit's budget; closing ice rinks; crippling all festivals like CVAF, SwampFest & Mosaic; stripping all community associations of their core funding. The list is a monster & that's the tip of the iceberg. /3

the best way to make sure that you and your loved ones survive isn't to grab a gun and go shooting wildly. it's to make connections in your community, talk to your neighbors, organize in all forms of life. we need to help the people most vulnerable, and we need to build a new future
