I know now I don't mind if I don't get a story published in this once honorable magazine--it was my long-term dream, but that dream belongs to the before-time. The new owners might be just fine, but the aura, the specific joy of that magazine, is not there now.

I loved reading the issues under your tenure. It fell apart rather rapidly after you left--and responses were very hard to get. You gave us the sense of continuity that F&FS offered for decades. Thank you so much.
