False alarm: It did say on Ys that the system had to be initialised, and I understood "reboot and initialise" as "reboot to initialise". Well you get to a menu by pressing Select on bootup where you can do that.
Or you're playing Bomberman, that can initialise the system in-game. Works all fine now.

Forgot to mention, that Yoyo still has candy in there, best before 2013

Needed some extra PS1 memory cards and the rest is random junk I got for cheap, such as:
- A Wii Fit lanyard
- A Wii frisbee
- A Wii lip balm lanyard (smells like new)
- A Mario Yoyo which screams 1997 but somehow is from 2010
- Hilarious DS Lite case
- Brane Age sliding puzzle game

Yeah other than that... The Project Diva Extend soundtrack isn't really what I expexted (it doesn't really say anything on the box). I don't recognize any song from the game, one song is a Miku version of Live & Learn which is amazing haha, maybe they were DLC tracks?
Also played it on my PC Duo lol

Nagano Winter Olympics is a must-have in every good N64 and PS1-collection. Already had it on Playstation so I had to get the N64 version.

That ugly-ass 3DS game I bought cause I saw it on Amazon Japan recently and it was so hideous I wanted it, and now I own it, what is wrong with me

IA/VT is another Vita game I wanted, even though I don't have a Vita yet. Still need to get that Gumi game on PSP, but seems to be somewhat hard to come by.
Oh and fun fact: IA/VT came with DLC codes which expired... less than three months ago. That game is 10 years old, rip

The two Bust-a-Moves were cheap and I like Bust-a-Move. Although still looking for Bust-a-Move 2 on N64 which I played as a child...

Psycho Fox is supposedly pretty good. Sadly missing the manual.

Pojipittan is also cool, hadn't owned the DS version yet.

Xenoblade for New 3DS cause it's a Xeno thing I didn't own yet. I don't even own the PAL version or even a New 3DS lol. Got one console for which I already had games I couldn't play yet with the PC Engine and add another one with the New 3DS.

Kororinpa is a game I've been looking for almost as long as I had a Wii. Rented it from a video store in 2007, loved it and never found a good deal. I can finally conclide this 18 year-long search.

Bomberman '93 is probably the only PCE game I know very well, played it a ton on Wii VC (my mom too).
Puyo Puyo is, well... It's Puyo Puyo. I wanted that.

At least it works (mostly), although the video output is a bit wonky. Also not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but it also looks like it can't save any more? But maybe I did something wrong, will have to look deeper.
Then I can finally play my copy of Ys III.

The PC Duo was the main purchase, of course, and I had to remove the price sticker which said 225€ cause I didn't want my parents to see that lmao
idk why but PC Engines are stupid expensive. It's not like they're rare, they're really not. At least that's the only expensive console I really wanted.

Also, the box with Klonoa was badly packed and the case shattered :(

Used to recommend Amazon Japan a lot, but this was really not a good experience

Then, both Taiko drums have issues. The Wii one has severe sensitivity issues (I think I can fix that, I think something's stuck at the sensor) and the PS2 one randomly disconnects (that one might be harder to fix).

Sadly didn't go too smoothly. Was stuck at customs who wanted some kinda oroof of purchase/payment which Amazon only provided in Japanese.
