Such a treat this morning with both a fresh dump of snow and a visit by a large local herd of elk, here on Vancouver Island. These guys have been spotted many times in the area, but a visit to our place is a rare chance to get up close. #elk #vancouverisland #snowday

As the gardens settle in for the winter, its a perfect time to start planning for next season. We want to expand our rosemary plantings, so we are taking cuttings to root out over winter and be ready to pot up in the spring. #rosemary #cuttings #planyourgarden
