Tonight's #Christmas watch: THE GRINCH (2018).
A very safe and unoriginal re-adaptation of a story done way better in live-action back in 2000. Never liked the Grinch is too nice from the start, it results in being a green version of Despicable Me.

Easily one of the finest animated movies in recent years. And watching it again makes the job at the upcoming remake that much harder. Heading back into 2019 Lion King times of unnecessary. This still rules.

I'm more of a cinema fan if that wasn't obvious enough, but occasionally I'll dabble in theatre and pantos. Classic Danny Adams production, cracking as ever. Very much a staple of the Christmas Season from now on. #TheatreSky #TheatreRoyal

...In how it examines the lunacy of a society that completely glosses over the truth and reality over what's easy. Jodie Comer is devastatingly real here. The kind of movie where virtually everyone is an absolute scumbag, it asks a lot of the audience to keep watching.
