For everyone out there rightly and understandably pissed about the 8 Senators who capitulated and betrayed us on the budget vote and now calling for their heads...Senators cannot be impeached or recalled. They are "untouchable" by the electorate. Only a 2/3 vote of the full Senate can remove one.

Seems like a terrible idea for Senate Dems to roll over and vote to for the funding bills, because there's no guarantee the republicans will honor their promise to fix the ACA subsidies in the future. This flip by 8 Dem Senators is why Dems lose. You simply cannot be fair and trustful of repubs!
