I didn’t get to see all the games from this weekend’s #RugbyWorldCup action that I would like to, but as I thought it went mostly chalk with an ‘upset’ by Fiji over Australia, though given how both sides have been playing, I don’t know how much that term counts. And Japan did scare England.

Best game looks to be #Australia-#Fiji. AUS had their first win under new coach Eddie Jones and Fiji lost an incredibly close game to Wales. All is on the line again for these two. Honorable mention goes to #England-#Japan. Japan usually pulls an amazing upset or two and is England better or lucky?

Best game looks to be #Australia-#Fiji. AUS had their first win under new coach Eddie Jones and Fiji lost an incredibly close game to Wales. All is on the line again for these two. Honorable mention goes to #England-#Japan. Japan usually pulls an amazing upset or two and is England better or lucky?
Unlike last weekend, the 2nd weekend of the #RugbyWorldCup does not have any marquee matchups. I think we will see the favorites prevail across the board…or an amazing upset.

First weekend of the #RugbyWorldCup observations: most entertaining game Wales vs Samoa. Biggest upset England beating Argentina given how they looked coming in to the tourney. Awesome opener of NZ vs France and while we know how good France is, still surprise to see NZ lose 2 in a row like that.

What I want for this #RugbyWorldCup - #Scotland to get out of their pool, #Ireland to get through the quarters, and a Northern Hemisphere team to win. And if I can’t have that, I would love to see some Tier 2 nations go through. Looking at you Samoa, Tonga, and Fiji.
