I got too busy reading other stuff (Feuerbach lol) but I'm back to The Dialectical Biologist.
Lewontin and Levins were absolutely cooking something special!
Psych people should be forced to read them 🙃

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off was probably the best thing I've seen this year!
Everything was beautifully constructed - the pristine aesthetic and the brilliant self reflexive narrative (without the bad "was I the evil one all along" shtick) at the end really got me going.

It's hilarious that out of all the dumb shit Zizek talks about - this is what people are mad at him lol.
This has been the Indian radical secular position on the Bhagavad Gita for years. (It's also much much harsher on the Gita than Zizek lol)

Dialectical Biologist....? You mean the anti-Weber/Parsons manifesto? This goes so hard lol
October 21, 2023 at 8:00 AM
The Dialectical Biologist is a banger from the very start! There is two wolfs inside - the Foucauldian and the Adornoian.

Ngl the Foucauldian is on its last legs over the past year and this might be its nail in the coffin (Still love reading him tho...)

There was this nagging feeling rereading the Lakatos paper but I couldn't point it out until the end lol. Gillian Rose emoji

So I've been reading PhilSci for the past few days. The main conclusion I've come to is that Kuhn is a liberal pragmatist, Popper is an conservative doomer and Lakatos is a Bernsteinian social democrat!!
(and Roy Bhaskar is Heideggerian)

Reading Lakatos while listening to Boris in a cafe. I'm vibing today, live mas.
